PAK Vs AFG Asif Ali And Fareed Ahmad Both Fined 25% Of Their Match Fees By The ICC


ICC Action on Asif Ali and Fareed Ahmad: In the match between Pakistan and Afghanistan in the 2022 Asia Cup, there was a clash between Pakistani batsman Asif Ali and Afghanistan fast bowler Fareed Ahmed Malik. The match between the two teams became so tense that a scuffle broke out between Asif Ali and Farid Ahmed. At the same time, big action has been taken by the ICC on this incident.

ICC took great action
Taking cognizance of this incident, the ICC has taken major action against Pakistan batsman Asif Ali and Afghanistan bowler Farid Ahmed Malik. The ICC has fined both the players 25 percent of the match fee.

The ICC said that Asif has violated Article 2.6 of the ICC Code of Conduct, which is related to the player and his support person, during the international match. At the same time, Farid has broken Article 2.1.12 which deals with unfair physical behavior of players, support personnel, umpires and match referees. In view of this, the ICC has imposed a huge fine of 25 percent of the match fee of both the players.

There was a scuffle in the audience too
There was an exciting match between Pakistan and Afghanistan in Dubai. During this, where the players were seen clashing on the field, there was a clash between the fans of both the cricket teams outside the field. During this, there was a lot of commotion in the pavilion and the fans were seen kicking and punching each other and throwing chairs.

Let us tell you that Pakistan had defeated Afghanistan in the match. At the same time, as soon as the match ended, the pavilion of Dubai turned into a stand. As soon as the Afghanistan cricket team lost, the fans got furious and started throwing the chairs kept in the pavilion by uprooting them. During this, the fans of the Afghan cricket team broke the chairs and started throwing them towards the Pakistanis.
