A case is registered against Meenu and many properties have been found, her investigation is going on. Unless he is arrested, Ashu cannot be granted bail.

On the other hand Ashu’s lawyer Pratyapar Singh Ghuman told that even though the lower court has rejected Ashu’s bail. He will look into the whole matter. Will soon approach the Punjab and Haryana High Court. It is noteworthy that Vigilance had arrested former minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu after the Rs 2000 crore transport scam came to light in the Food and Supplies Department. Vigilance had kept Ashu on remand for eight days. After this, on the order of the court, he was sent to Patiala Jail in judicial custody for 14 days.
