hear the news

There is good news for the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY). The ration for the month of June has lapsed and will now be distributed to them. The Government of India has again given a chance to lift this ration. The state government has been told that this is the last chance and this ration should be lifted within a week.

Under PMGKAY scheme, 100% distribution of ration for the month of June could not be done. The Government of India has kept three dates for the lifting of ration for the month of June. The date of lifting was extended till 30 June, then 31 July and thereafter till 15 August 2022. Despite this, seven percent of the total ration could not be lifted, in which about fifty thousand tonnes of ration was not distributed to the poor.

On Thursday, the Government of India sent a letter to the State Government asking that this ration should be lifted within a week. In this regard, Commissioner Food and Logistics Markandeya Shahi has sent a letter to all the District Magistrates and instructed them to get the ration immediately. Also, keep in mind that there is no black marketing or diversion of ration.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is very serious about the distribution of ration. The matter was discussed in the Government of India. As a result of this, one more week has been given for lifting. Now there will be 100 percent distribution of ration for the month of June
