A tourist who came to Agra to see the Taj Mahal informed the police that his valuables had been looted. Spoke to the police in fluent English. A tourist resident of Goa reached Sadar police station on Tuesday. He told that he works in the Tesla company in Belgium. Came to Mathura from Goa on September 11. After this, on Tuesday, booked a cab to see the Taj Mahal and reached Agra. After getting off the cab on the highway, he did an auto to see the hotel. He had to exchange currency. He took information from the driver. The auto driver kept driving him around the city for about an hour. He then fled after robbing his valuables.
The tourist said that the auto driver and his accomplices robbed him of a laptop, mobile camera and a trolley bag with eight thousand euros. The tourist spoke fluent English. The police also believed in a one-off incident. Took the matter seriously.
