SCO Summit 2022 Putin And Xi Jinping Meeting With Ukraine War One China Policy


Tashkent: The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit has begun in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. This conference will run from 15-16 September. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping met in this conference. This is the first face-to-face meeting between Jinping and Putin since the start of the Ukraine war. Jinping has received Putin’s support on tensions related to China and Taiwan. Russia’s Vladimir Putin said that Russia supports the ‘One China Policy’.

Putin made this statement at a time when US Congress Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan in August. His visit was described by China as an act of provocation and maneuvers close to Taiwan. Putin was also furious at the world’s attitude to the Ukraine war. He said that efforts are being made to make the world one polar. Putin also said that Russia attaches importance to China’s balanced position on the Ukraine issue. He said that there will be questions related to this in your (China) mind, on which we will clear our position.

Jinping came out of China for the first time after Corona
This is the first foreign visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping since the start of the Corona epidemic. During his meeting with Putin, Jinping expressed his commitment to cooperation with Russia. During this time, China avoided calling Russia’s attack on Ukraine an attack. Russia calls it a special military operation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Putin will also meet during the SCO meeting. It was said from the Russian side, ‘PM Modi and Putin will meet. He will discuss trade, Russia’s fertilizer and food supply.

Russia has once again warned America during the war. Russia’s Foreign Ministry has said that if the US gives Ukraine a long-range HIMARS missile, it will cross the red line.
