The proposed merger between the television groups Groupe TF1 and Groupe M6 in France has been called off. The two groups had plans to merge, but have not been authorized by the French competition authority (l’Autorité de la Concurrence).
Injured all-rounder Mitchell Marsh will join his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capitals and continue his injury recovery process in India after he was ruled out of Australia’s limited-overs series against Pakistan.
Delhi had bought this 30-year-old player in the IPL auction last month for six and a half crores. He suffered a hip injury during a fielding drill on Sunday. Due to this, he could not even play in the first ODI in Lahore on Tuesday, in which Australia won by 88 runs.
Marsh will now continue his recovery process under the guidance of physiotherapist Patrick Farhart. Farhart has been with Delhi Capitals since the 2020 IPL season. Cricket Australia said in a statement on Wednesday, “Marsh will travel to India to join the Delhi Capitals team where he will complete his isolation and former Australia and current New South Wales physio Pat Farwart will oversee his recovery process.” ,
Marsh said, “Disappointed not to play in the Pakistan series but looking forward to rejoining the Australian team on the next tour.” Was part of the limited overs series.
If we look at Marsh’s performance so far, he has been effective. All-rounder player Marsh has performed well in the IPL. He has taken 20 wickets in 21 matches and has scored 225 runs as well. He has scored 885 runs in 36 T20 International matches. With this, 15 wickets have also been taken in his name.
