Three Died And 19 Injured In Road Accident In Firozpur Of Punjab

Peter Rehda overturned on the road while saving a bike near Ghazni Wala Mor (Kot Shingar Singh Wala) village on Fazilka Highway in Punjab’s Ferozepur. Three people died in the accident while 19 people were injured. There were about 22 people on Peter Rehde. All of them were residents of Katiya Wala village in Jalalabad and they were going to attend the condolence meeting of a relative in Mallanwala on Sunday. The injured have been admitted to the local hospital. Where seeing the critical condition of eight people, they have been referred to the Medical College in Faridkot.

On information, the police station Lakhoke Bahram reached the spot and started its action. According to eyewitnesses, Peter Rehra was coming from Jalalabad side. As soon as the village reached near Ghajini Wala Mor, a bike rider was climbing from Link Road to GT Road. Peter Rehde’s driver tried to save the bike.

Due to the high speed, as soon as the brakes were applied, it overturned and fell on the side of the road after overturning three times. After this, the whole village resonated with the screams of the people there. Passers-by took the injured to the local hospital. Three people died in this accident. These embody Shilo Bai (55) wife Anantpal resident Chak Arniwala, Jagir Singh (58) resident Katia Wala and Shilo Bai wife Resham Singh resident Brahmani Wala (Ghuri).

Eight seriously injured have been admitted to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot. These include Resham Singh, Teja Singh, Savarna Bai, Natha Singh, Joginder Singh resident Katia Wala, Resham Singh, Jogindero Bai and Amar Singh resident Katia Wala. Bachchan Singh, in-charge of police station Lakhoke Bahram, who reached the spot, says that all these people are residents of Katiawala, Arniwala in Jalalabad. Mallanwala was on his way to attend the condolence meeting of a relative.

The son-in-law of Santa Singh, a resident of village Katiyawala, had died a few days ago. The son-in-law’s last bhog was in Mallanwala on Sunday. All the relatives were going to Mallanwala riding on Peter Rehde. Peter Rehda overturned near village Kot Shingar Singh Wala. Santa’s second son-in-law Jagir Singh was riding on this road, he also died in the accident.

All aboard Peter Rehde were relatives of Santa Singh. The injured were lying on the road in agony after the accident. Calling 108 ambulances and sent everyone to the hospital. Before the ambulance arrived, passersby tried to stop the bleeding by covering the wound with clothes. The road was red with blood. The condition of one person has become critical.
