London. US President Joe Biden and his wife Jill Biden, who arrived in London on Monday to attend the state funeral of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, paid tribute to her. Biden arrived with his wife at Westminster Hall in London on Sunday and paid tribute to the late Queen at a designated spot near her coffin. He made the sign of the cross and stood there silently and placed his hand on his chest. The body of the late Queen Elizabeth II is kept in Westminster Hall. The Queen’s state funeral will be held on Monday. Biden is also expected to attend a reception hosted by Britain’s King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla for world leaders at Buckingham Palace on Sunday evening.

About 500 world leaders, including members of the royal family from around the world, will attend the Queen’s funeral. The funeral will be held at Westminster Abbey, where about 2,000 people are expected to be present. The funeral rituals will begin at 11 a.m. local time and end an hour later with a two-minute silence. (input ANI)
