The F77 electric bike was launched earlier this month.

New Delhi. Bengaluru-based electric vehicle manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive launched the F77 electric bike earlier this month. It is India’s first performance electric motorcycle to go on sale. The most special thing about this electric bike is that this e-motorcycle will be equipped with Bosch’s dual-channel ABS, which will help it to stop immediately at any speed. It is also the first electric bike to be equipped with this safety system.

The bike gets features like 5.0-inch TFT display with ride analytics, real-time location, crash detection and battery statistics along with smartphone connectivity and navigation. The Ultraviolette bike gets a USD front fork, a monoshock at the rear, disc brakes at both ends with ABS and is based on a steel trellis frame, which houses the battery pack in an aluminum case.

This system is enough for the bike

This braking system is powerful and safe for an electric motorcycle considering its strong performance. The Bosch Motorcycle ABS 10 Base has been designed for the F77 and also integrates a rear-wheel lift-up mitigation function, which helps keep the rear wheel on the ground, reducing the risk of rollover.

Know what is the top speed of the bike

The Ultraviolette F77 has no competition in the electric bike segment. The electric motorcycle comes with a PMS direct drive motor pack with 38.8 bhp power and 95 Nm peak torque. The top speed of the bike is 147 kmph. It has three riding modes, which include Glide, Combat and Ballistic.

What is the cost of the bike?

The F77 has been launched with two battery options, the first being a 7.1 kWh and the second being a 10.3 kWh battery. Both models will get a range of 206 km and a range of 307 km. Prices for the F77 start from ₹3.8 lakhs for the original, going all the way up to ₹4.55 lakhs for the Recon variant. All prices are ex-showroom.
