As soon as he got the information about his daughter becoming an IAS from his wife, his eyes became moist with tears of happiness. He told that as soon as his officer daughter comes from Delhi to Lucknow, the first thing Will go to seek the blessings of her grandfather.

Became an officer in the second attempt at the age of 23
Jyoti Mishra, who secured 432nd rank in UPSC exam, has become an officer at the age of just 23. Yes, Jyoti Mishra told that this was her second attempt. UPSC exam in which she has been successful. She was not successful in the first attempt. She told that when she saw her name in the list of UPSC exam, her eyes were filled with happiness and first of all she called her mother and sisters and informed them. She further told that she started preparing for UPSC exam from B.Com second year itself. She says that coaching does not play as important a role in UPSC exam as self-study. She told that she herself studied for one year. Self-study till then did coaching and then he got success in second attempt. It doesn’t matter how many hours you study, what matters is how hard you study and how hard you study. She also told that whatever responsibility will be given to her, she will fulfill it well.
