She did her schooling from Rae Bareilly and at the age of 16, Jyoti enrolled in Delhi University’s B.Com. Mishra is serving in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi. As soon as he got the information about his daughter becoming an IAS from his wife, his eyes became moist with tears of happiness. He told that as soon as his officer daughter comes from Delhi to Lucknow, the first thing Will go to seek the blessings of her grandfather.

Being in police could not give daughterTime
He told that while working in the police, he could not give time to his daughter. He only provided resources to his daughter and the daughter has made her and the whole family proud by clearing the UPSC exam with her hard work. Being a little emotional, Suresh Narayan says that he never imposed his will on the children. Apart from Jyoti, he has two more daughters who are also studying. The whole department is congratulating him on the success of his daughter.

Wife told that daughter became an officer
Sub Inspector Suresh Kumar Mishra told that on the day the UPSC result came, Jyoti first gave this good news to her mother. After this, when his wife called him, he was on his way to the court and as soon as He got emotional when he heard the news that his daughter has passed the UPSC exam. He called his daughter and said that you have made me proud. During the phone conversation both father and daughter got emotional. Told that no one in the whole family could reach such a high position where Jyoti has reached.

Became an officer in the second attempt at the age of 23
Jyoti Mishra, who secured 432nd rank in UPSC exam, has become an officer at the age of just 23. Yes, Jyoti Mishra told that this was her second attempt. UPSC exam in which she has been successful. She was not successful in the first attempt. She told that when she saw her name in the list of UPSC exam, her eyes were filled with happiness and first of all she called her mother and sisters and informed them. She further told that she started preparing for UPSC exam from B.Com second year itself. She says that coaching does not play as important a role in UPSC exam as self-study. She told that she herself studied for one year. Self-study till then did coaching and then he got success in second attempt. It doesn’t matter how many hours you study, what matters is how hard you study and how hard you study. She also told that whatever responsibility will be given to her, she will fulfill it well.
